As highlighted by Salon Today, the judging process for the 2024 Salons of the Year was thorough and detailed. The panel of experts evaluated each salon in categories like Use of Color, Lighting, Flooring, Efficient Use of Space, Consistency of Design, and Overall Aesthetics. The process emphasized how salons carefully design their spaces to cultivate a specific energy, attract a target market, and inspire team culture—all while producing beautiful results for clients. We are incredibly proud that Crown Extension Studio stood out among 23 other stunning salons across the country.
Our journey began at the height of the pandemic when we transformed a 100-year-old apartment building into what Crown Extension Studio is today—a luxurious space where jade-colored tiles and deep green tones create an atmosphere of health and vitality. From our chandelier, symbolizing a crown of jewels, to our camel-colored Italian leather chairs and gold shelving, every detail was chosen to provide both elegance and comfort.
Guests at Crown Extension Studio don’t just come for hair extensions; they step into an experience. Greeted by one of our expert "extensionistas," each guest is welcomed with a soft peach-skin robe and offered our signature Crown Peach Mimosa. As they sit in our luxurious styling chairs, they can’t help but notice the library of hair extensions and the teamwork between stylists—another hallmark of our unique environment.
The shampoo area offers a retreat where soft lighting, soothing music, and hot towel scalp massages help guests unwind. Every detail, from the arched gold mirrors to the granite countertops, reflects our commitment to creating a cohesive, inviting atmosphere where clients feel pampered and relaxed.
